High water level

My brother and I walked about 10 K from his house across the bridge towards Nijmegen and back again on another bridge. The water level is high, but not in a threatening way.

The quay has a stone wall protecting the city from water when the level of water is high enough to flood the quay, which hasn't happened yet.

Very interesting to see though.

The bridge in the blip is normally part of a walkway crossing a narrow stream of water.
