Christmas keeps giving

And I have another one in the pipeline too. Many of you liked the tree and I agree the decorations cheer up a darker time of the year.

We’ve been under a blanket of cloud all day with some spiteful rain now and again blowing in a fresh northeasterly off the North Sea. The rest of the country has been basking in sunshine and blue skies. JoppaStrand reckons the SE is in for some snow showers later in the week.

We went to see Doreen this morning, doing OK, her appetite is returning which is a good sign. She is in bed all the time now. Thank you for all your good wishes for her wellbeing.

The decorations were going to come down this afternoon. It’ll be tomorrow now - at the earliest. I don’t think we will be leaving them up like Knottman2 until Candlemas - but you never know.

Had a FaceTime with Chris and the grandchildren and witnessed Madison’s first unaided step. Woohoo!
