Selfie with red jacket

Sometimes I can’t bear to part with clothes because of the memories they retain. So it is with this old ski jacket. Several times it has been placed in the bag destined for the local charity shop and at the eleventh hour pulled out again.
 
It could come in very handy in the days ahead as we face a cold spell though there is a strong possibility we will escape the severe snow warnings further north.
