A Brief Peregrination

Lessons in life... always put a fresh battery into the camera.

So we came upon this chap being exercised in the fields outside the village - much to the consternation of the huge flock of seagulls that is juuuust about to take to the skies...

I only got a couple of preliminary shots before the camera said "battery exhausted", bugrit!

This is one of those shots, taken against the keeper's possibly white van. I've replaced the van as best I can with a shot I took a few minutes earlier. In truth I had the wrong lens for a peregrine flight but, you know, bugrit!
