Not What I Wanted

I tried making a box with a 'sunken' lid that tilts open when you push one side.
It works in a fashion .... but it was a learning curve.
When I was putting some finish on it I looked out the window .....  some blue skies (but getting darker) and snow. Well - I say snow... a very short, light flurry. Too little to photograph ... so I stuck with a shot of the rubbish on the windowsill.
