Sea and sky

We had been expecting another grey day like yesterday, so we were pleasantly surprised when the sun began to break through the clouds just after breakfast, and stayed out for several hours, affording us a lovely time on the beach, sitting reading, walking, shell gathering, and Roger even went in the sea! Then we noticed that one end of the beach was beginning to be enveloped by low cloud, and before too long the clouds had moved in, and it felt much cooler, so we retreated to our rental home, and had a coffee and some fruit. Then we thought we would give the (heated ) pool a try- it’s only small, but it felt very pleasant. When we’d showered and dressed again, we went off for a walk at Robinson Preserve, by which time it was late afternoon. We saw several Ibis and a few cormorants perched in the trees, but not much more. Then it was off to the grocery store on the way back.
