Road Race Championships

The British Cycling National Road Race Championships were held on the streets of Glasgow today. The roads around us were closed for the day and every 20 minutes or so we have been able to see them take another lap from our living room window.

I'd taken a few shots this morning of the women's race but really wanted to get down to get an up close shot. Timed it perfectly to get this one with David Miller at the front and Mark Cavendish at the back of the pack (no idea who the two in the middle are I'm afraid!)

It is the first time the National Road Race has been held on a city centre circuit so a little bit of history captured!
