The Flinders Flounders

This is one of the major reasons we love Augusta!  Flinders Bay is like no other and this morning it was absolutely glorious.  These are the local Flounders swimming group who meet here every week on a regular basis.  If the wind is really strong they can drive across to Hamelin Bay (about a 15 minute drive) and swim in the same conditions as you see here.  They have the best of both worlds.  This is what my dear old Mum and Dad used to do when they had their holiday house down in Augusta.  Mum used to love swimming at Flinders because she felt so safe.  It’s truly very beautiful.
