Friday evening and the start of a pragmatic weekend. Original plans were for a walking weekend in the peaks or Shropshire (we'd not decided) but the need was for a visit to 'A' in Oxford and garden repair wok at M's place in Coventry.

I gather I have S to thank for this picture as it's a tree, diseased beyond recognition, that he and A found in the park in Headington. 'A' took us to it as we wanted a leg stretch after a moderately frustrating drive from Cambridge after work. The incompetent and the arrogant were out in force on the roads today.
