Sand

…is the present subject of the exhibition at Sinclair-Haus Museum, Bad Homburg, Hesse, Germany. In one of the rooms, a small selection from Wiesbaden Museum’s collection of sand samples is shown, and the main photo is a detail, zooming in from left to right. —The extra is a view from the castle gardens (formerly the moat) up to the palace, once the centre of the small county of Hesse-Homburg (before it was swallowed by Prussia). — In modern Germany, the town has been bestowed the prefix “Bad”, meaning spa in German.
