The Crown Posada
The Crown Posada is a beautiful public house in Newcastle Upon Tyne in the North of England.
Built in 1880 it continues to serve great beer in magnificent surroundings, entertainment is provided by an old record player, upon which the clientele are expected to play their own records.
Posada is Spanish FOR 'inn', legend has it that the bar was once given as a present by a Spanish pirate to his mistress and added Posada to its previous English name 'The Crown'.
Northern Monk made this beer to commemorate it, and very tasty it is too.
