Feeding the ducks

G and I went for a short walk in this glorious sunny warm weather across the farm before driving to the Fox Inn for lunch.  On the way back we stopped at the reservoir where someone was feeding the waterfowl with seed.  Mostly Mallard but there were also Canada geese, one Muscovy duck (out of the picture) and of course the greedy seagulls.  I hadn't seen the reservoir so full for a long time, last summer there was a margin of mud around the water which kept getting wider and wider as the water was being used to supply the town.  Extra photo: Gorse flower on the farm.  Temperature  13 C.
