Splash and the Zoo

Today we took the boys to Splash which is put on by the local council. They enjoyed the water slides and then played in the playground at Mellor Park.
We came home for lunch and then in the afternoon headed to the Adelaide Zoo to have a look at the Komodo Dragon. The youngest has been crazy about lizards and wanted to have a look at this one. We spent over two hours at the Zoo where the boys played on the play equipment before we headed off to look a few more exhibits before the Zoo closed.
It was lovely going a bit later in the day as the animals and birds were more active than what they are in the morning and of course it was not quite so busy.
