The Three Hills...

...at Bartlow.

Another dull day.

I had a walk to see the ancient Romano-British burial mounds up at Bartlow. Although they are often call 'Three Hills' as is the local pub, there are more. one is much smaller and often overlooked, another was cut through by the Victorians when the railway was built. The extra aerial photo taken by the RAF in 1946 shows the hills right in the centre.

The other extra is an old and unwanted Barford drill left to rot away in the woods.
