More chemistry!

I made it up to the allotment after some marking and finally getting my pre-Christmas haircut (delayed by pre-Christmas COVID).  Looking at the bin, the temperature of the heap had risen over 20C and it officially warm.   I may reconsider waiting for the courgettes and try to get some  early crops going there as I can easily add a lid using some of the ripped polytunnel cover.  Something for the weekend.  :-)
Meanwhile, there was a lot of rain the other night  - 17mm according to my rain gauge, which has moved to a new home in the corner of the saffron bed.  I also managed some digging before the light began to fade too much to see.  I must go earlier next time. :-)
