Another flower

The bush was covered in Camelia flowers and of course there were plenty of water droplets to enhance the image. Another grey day and ultimately wet afternoon.

We were fortunate to get out for a walk this morning, calling in at a seed swap the village hall. Picked up some monogerm beetroot, radishes and some organic heritage peas to try. Most of the packets were out of date so I’ll have to try a germination test to see how they do.

We shared various household tasks this afternoon after which Susan went to see her mum. Meanwhile I watched both rugby matches which is unusual for me. Scotland v France ended controversially but I think the decision was correct. England v Wales had its share of moments too. England didn’t impress and were fortunate to win by the skin of their teeth.

All ready for Saturday night aperitifs and a fish and chip supper cooked in the air fryer.
