At the pond

A raw day, with a biting wind..... but a bit of sunshine too!

We danced in the morning...... great dances and always in awe of our caller.  Aileen seems to be able to anticipate our mistakes before we make them.  And as we get older we do make many!

In the afternoon we had a wee trip down to Rouken Glen, and walked at the pond.  I am not sure of the name of the duck I have posted in extras; my book says it is a Pochard, a common winter visitor.  Perhaps if I am wrong someone will tell me!

Meconopsisblue had confirmed my thoughts but has come back to tell me it is actually a wigeon.   I am grateful to her for letting me know.
