Two fun facts about the white-breasted nuthatch: they are monogamous, always within communication distance; they prefer to forage with downy woodpeckers, titmice and chickadees, dependent on them to warn of predators while they focus on food sources • Another sunny day and a bit warmer than yesterday. We’re leaving soon for a walk at the boat landing • Uke practice, then a few chores around the house, done.
