Back to the garden

I've nothing against wood pigeons and they do photograph quite well, even through glass and at quite some distance away.  However, on this occasion I would have preferred to photograph the starling, a rarer visitor, who looked as though he was holding quite a large piece of bread in his beak.  Unfortunately he spotted me and flew off before I could limp to my camera set up on a tripod, so this is second best.
Tonight we have the BAFTA Awards on TV so no 'Call The Midwife' but we still enjoy an hour of escapism with 'Death in Paradise'!
