Back in the North

We're back in the North and we enjoyed rainbows for a considerable proportion of the journey (which was mainly in rain) north of Dalwhinnie. There was a lovely one over the Dornoch Firth just as we came around the Tain ring road to head down to the house. However, it was followed swiftly by a heavy shower and that put paid to any ideas of popping out - as advised previously by N - to the Links to see the Red Arrows who have been practising a new routine over the Tain range (some great photos) in the last few days. In any event, they were late compared to the advertised timing and by that stage I was in a Teams meeting. Mr A caught sight of them, apparently, when he headed down to the supermarket whilst I was in my meeting.

So I snapped a picture in the garden instead. The honeysuckle is starting to throw out green shoots. That's very encouraging.
