Still Rockin'

Bamburgh

It's been a lovely day. After a morning's work we went out for a quick lunch at the farm shop and then Marty and Marian went off to visit Kate at the hospital. I drove up to Bamburgh, where I don't think I've ever been before. I drove through to the north side and got down on the rocks for my photograph. The tide was high and splashing against the rocks and the light was wonderful.

Afterwards I drove south to Howick, where I'd seen photos of the Bathing House which was built in the early 19th century by the then Prime Minister Earl Grey.  It stands by the coast path above a small sheltered bay. The sun was just dipping down on the land side just leaving the house lit up.
