Looking down....

....upon Taylor's Mistake, looks like a lovely bay, disappointed to say I have never been, it's now on the 'To do list'!

I had a wonderful day with blipper JMK, we were very spontaneous, just got in the car and drove, ending up at Godley Head. The views were stunning on both sides of the peninsula, the hills golden brown, so dry. The ocean was a beautiful turquoise blue on Lyttelton side and steely blue looking towards Christchurch. As you can see the sky was amazing, just a few slight gusts came through and the odd drop fell from above. We felt very adventurous as the drive is not for the faint hearted, just edging along the face of the hills, J is such a good driver.

Thanks J for another great day out and about, nice to sit and chat over lunch, share some laughs and then enjoy some camera time :)

I've added some extras:  entrance of Lyttelton harbour with it's gorgeous blue sea and brown hills, Taylors Mistake with lots of swimmers and the lovely JMK, such a good friend :))
