The Arabian Nights

On a bookshelf in the apartment we keep a second edition of The Arabian Nights in 12 volumes. When S started university, she travelled from Hamilton to Dunedin by train, ferry and train. That necessitated a day in Wellington where she visited her uncle and aunt. She admired this set of books, and late in life her uncle gave them to her.

The wee pieces in front have nothing to do with the books, and have been found by us in different places at different times, on different travels.

A last minute photo, as I did not get out for a run at either end of the day today, and barely had a break for coffee at the office.
