Low Tide & Lenticular Clouds

This retirement lark is exhausting - it's been non-stop and I didn't even have time to blip yesterday. Good weather meant more hacking back in the garden, scooping out duckweed from the pond, reading my book on 100 Irish objects (from a mesolithic fish trap to a 1970s decommisioned AK47), sorting out a massive card order and gadding out in the evening - the teachers' end of term bash. Today has been slightly more leisurely and I strolled down to the beach where there was an incredibly low tide and strange clouds. The sun is still shining, the polytunnel needs watering and Son#1 has finally sent us Game of Thrones 3 - all good.
