The Edge of the Wold

Showers and sunbeams

I'm running a day behind with blips, and the days are so hectic at the moment that I soon forget what happened the previous day.  I do recall that Monday started well, and I managed some time in the orchard clearing more weedy growth and spreading compost.  My little friend from Sunday was there again, and is becoming more confiding.

It was late afternoon before I went out for my walk up to the top of Worsendale, and by then there were squally rain showers blowing through and the sun was breaking through gaps in the cloud and illuminating patches of the farmland.  The village in the left hand corner looks very small in this agricultural landscape.
