Coco-de-mer seed

Taken through glass. In a display case in the Botanics Science buildings, which is the venue for the Botanics choir. About 30cm across. Kew description : Lodoicea maldivica.

Gradually moving and sorting things in the flat. Out in the afternoon to walk by the Goldenacre path; looked into the top, drier, section of Warriston cemetery; there's a nice bank of daffodils in the most modern section. More sunshine in the Botanics, where the waterworks in the rock garden are back running, then returned by the Rocheid path.

Back out in the evening to choir; more of the pattern of learning parts of several songs line by line. I'd really like to see the music, but it's not that kind of choir ..
