Longlands Pheasant

Mishka and I made a quick visit to Fishers Green for a change of scenery. I left her in the van while I popped into Longlands Hide, where I got this shot of a hen pheasant. There were quite a few pheasants feeding in the set-aside area, including a beautiful melanistic hen. I saw Trigger the English bull terrier and his master returning from their walk and wasn't surprised when I heard lots of barking from outside when Mishka and Trigger spotted each other.
