Sgwarnog: In the Field

Plumage

I went for a closer look at the swans that I’d seen from a distance on Sunday from a distance. They seemed used to people, and have definitely still got some grey plumage which makes me think they are relative youngsters. I couldn’t see if they had been ringed - the Yorkshire Swan Hospital generally ring most swans in the region. We will see if they continue to hang around.

I had a fleeting glimpse of deer as I turned away from the water, I think they’d been sneaking past behind me.

I managed to tick off a couple more tasks with my work deadline, just one more document to finish really, so nearly there.
