Wheat fields on the slopes of Mount Kenya

The wheat fields here, on the north western slopes of Mount Kenya, gradually give way to the open savanna and rugged hills of the Laikipia plateau. In the far distance, beyond the farms, there are lions and elephants, buffalo and giraffe. And some very expensive tourist lodges.
