Flower Friday

The daffodils are exploding!  And it is actually raining here in the desert.  So far this year we have had .75 of an inch...not even one inch of rain total.  

~ Thursday night beginner's art class...third painting completed.  I copied a piece I found on the internet.  Starting to get the hang of mixing paints.  I love painting; it is so meditative.  When I am painting, I am thinking of nothing else but the subject at hand.  When I am in the bosque, I think I am meditating but the internal dialogue is often difficult to turn off.
