... in a small boat tied to the pier, too windy to go out today. 
Seven of us braved some dreadful weather to venture out to the bookclub where a very enjoyable and lively discussion was had concerning Dervla Murphy - widely reckless, ridiculously unafraid, compassionately curious and a generally awe-inspiring woman - whilst chomping on smelly cheese and crisp wine.
Torrential rain in the night but today has been soft and grey and mildish. 
A catch up with Finola this morning, life continues to be a roller coaster. Robert still in intensive care. 
I have been well working - two talks coming up next week. And it's the first in the series of the holy well programme tonight - TG4 Ag Triall ar an Tober  - on the trail of the holy well.
