Elder Wren

Another dull and damp day and another partially obscured bird. I know that nicely uncluttered bird on a stick images do show off birds best but I quite enjoy trying to capture them about their business amongst the twigs. I got shots of two different wrens this morning. The first was singing from a crab apple just coming into leaf. The one above was on the other side of the garden replying from a elder in bud.
