Removal

Stuart spent this afternoon removing a section of tiles from the kitchen wall. They were bulging outwards. My Dad had hidden them behind a large wooden rack! He wasn’t sure what the problem was with them. It seems that they had just been fitted too tightly together. Stuart is going to re-fix them without grout in between them. Then they should fit!

The tool in the photo is one my parents had bought years ago and never used. It removes grout from between tiles. Stuart found it really good. My Dad had a huge collection of tools in the garage, which had got quite jumbled up as he couldn’t see to sort them out. Stuart has been quite amazed by all the useful things he has been discovering since we moved here!
