Angel Street Permaculture Food Forest

I saw a scrub turkey a while ago in the more forested area near St John St, so went in to ask if it’s still around. A friend had glimpsed one in nearby Alice Street, and I’d followed a juvenile down the path next to the canal not long ago. No scrub turkey reports today, but I learned that 6-15 people come in to garden most Sundays (only two today due to rain) and the produce is shared. Like allotments in the UK, and on council land, but communal.

I asked nicely and took some thyme.

Happy St Patrick’s Day.

Hope you’re having an enjoyable Sunday.
