Surprise appearance...

I wasn't due to play tennis this morning and was only ever going to meet the guys for a drink afterwards. With the rain pouring down at around 9.00 the messaging on the WhatsApp group suggested that no one would be on court at 10.00, but when I turned up slightly later this bunch of diehards had shrugged off the weather and played on regardless.
