Loches

Last time I was here I stayed in a troglodyte cave. This time I’m staying in the ex-courthouse‘Palace of Justice’.

The journey from the ferry port was about 3 and a half hours plus we stopped for a very late lunch in an American style dinner just outside Tours which has Tesla superchargers.

MrH’s concerns were may not get a free parking space in Loches were well founded despite the Tripadvisor advice, thank goodness it was ok in the end. A calm stay with a broken radiator which meant the bathroom was like a sauna.

I had a negroni cocktail and beautiful plump black olives. The very posh restaurant had 3 star reviews so we gave it a miss,

Enjoyed an early morning walk the next day but then happy to travel to the next stop which was about 4 hours away including car charging.
