Tree Bumble

This isn't the first bee I've seen in the garden this year but it is the first I've blipped. A tree bumble, bombus hypnorum  I think. A pleasure to see it out and about on such a mild and sunny morning. 

In a few minutes I'm setting off with Flora to rendezvous with Cameraman and our grandson. They're currently on their way from Glasgow and we have a few jobs to do in town before we come back to the house for a busy day. 

Spring is in the air this morning but I know better than to cast a clout so early in the year. Wishing you a good day.
