New Tyres

Swapped the Maxxis Raze 35mm tyres (right) on my cross bike for 28mm wide Ultra Gatorskins today to make it a bit more road friendly - took her out for a spin and the difference in road noise and rolling resistance is amazing. It was a dry day and the grip was good too - haven't tried them out on tracks yet (apart from the bit between house and the road) - I'm aiming to use these during the "better weather" in Summer. The pair of Raze had done 1100 miles without any punctures and will be back on in the Autumn. Next tyre swap is taking knobbly tyres off the hybrid I use as a commuter bike and fitting it with some Sport Contacts for Summer.
