Kaybees Bits

By Kaybee

Hmmmmm

I am not convinced about the lid.
It was going to be smaller, but I got halfway through making it there was a hidden bit of rotten wood appeared  .... Yew is such a slow growing wood that it tends to 'incorporate' things - stones and bits of metal are fairly common. The most common though is bark where one branch has grown round another.
I think this is what has happened with the piece of wood I used for the lid (even though it isn't Yew).
The result is a slightly 'chunky' lid ... which may or may not stay as the lid.
