The Cake Fridge

The Cake Fridge is now an institution in Shetland.
It's open 24/7 and you just drive up, choose your homebaked goodies (and there's a selection of drinks, snacks and gifts too), pop your cash in the honesty box and head off into the beautiful sunset to enjoy your purchases!
There's an adjoining cafe if you prefer to sit in...it was closed on our visit but we were just as happy to happy to Grab and Go!
The Cake Fridge is in East Burrafirth and by all accounts has amassed a great following. Long may these quirky types of places continue.
