The Art House

A lift in to Wakefield this morning with MrM, to The Art House, for a 'silver drop earring' making workshop, a birthday present from Lucy.

The Art House itself is a fabulous place, housing exhibitions, studios for artists, makers and creative businesses, a shop, a café, and much more.

It was an excellent, well-organised workshop, intense but immensely enjoyable. There were eight of us, and after 3 hours' work we each left with a pair of silver earrings, all our own work. No doubt you'll be seeing mine in the near future!

Caught the bus back to Holmfirth. An interesting journey and not a direct route - for much of it I had no idea where we were. Maybe that's why it's called the 'Holmfirth Explorer'!
