A fine couple

Spotted this pair of Goosanders moving very quickly along the White Cart. The current was fairly strong and if they hadn't hopped up on the bank there would have been no photo.

I've seen the bank looking better but I don't think Mr & Mrs were bothered by the lack of grass.

A dry day but constantly overcast and chilly.
