Cosy Old Cardigan

Ooof

Cripes, what a tiring day! Had to go to The MAC to be photographer for our charity's All Age Autism event. This was taken in the calm before the storm (read: I got to the venue early and couldn't get in); I spent a bit of time helping set up the charity welcome tables, then headed over to the Book of Inspiration launch event. The BoI is a book our charity funded the supplies for Learning Disabilities service users to create art for, and then we funded printing it too. The event was really nice; some of the contributors talked about their pieces, and we all had the chance to reflect on them and give thoughts and feedback. Really lovely. Then came a day of basically just running around across 3 floors of autism-friendly activities, sensory spaces, exhibitors etc. This turned out to be more frustrating than I expected, as many people refused to consent for photography, meaning I had to bin off a load of images after spotting people with red "don't photograph me!" wristbands that couldn't easily be cropped or blurred out. Oof. Barely sat down all day, the building was too warm for this sweaty mess, so suffice to say I was very happy to return home to a lovely brinner!
