Ringed Plover

The last couple of days I've had good close views of a Great Northern Diver but not had the big lens with me. Today I went with the big lens but the diver was sitting in the middle of the bay so I couldn't get a decent photograph. 
The Ringed Plovers that somehow manage to survive breeding on or near Hoswick beach which can be quite busy were more obliging.
