A good Friday*

Superb swim at the Vico today, between showers, in the Big Green. It was clean, cool, refreshing. If Colgate could condense it into a tube, they would. 

* I have always wondered where the expression Good Friday came from. I am quite sure that it wasn't coined by Jesus himself. I mean, I've seen the Passion of the Christ and it is a well-kwown fact that Mel Gibson (not related to the guitars guy) is a stickler of historical accuracy. By all accounts, that Friday was no walk in the park for Jesus, and he was  definitely of the stoical persuasion in the face of adversity. It was a Just Alright Friday for him, at best. One that he wouldn't particularly care to commemorate.
