The Golden Seed...

....it was the Sparrows team relay event in the annual 'Grab Your Seed' event, and it started with the first member of the team putting their head into a mass of Seed and grabbing the yellow seed, which was shaped 'kind of like an egg'.

George didn't really care how it had been described, knowing the humans would be too busy with their own 'Egg Hunts' to pay attention to the Sparrows that day.

So with much egg-citement, and to save any eggs being thrown at this human for reporting all this with more egg puns, George got on with it.

Keep your seed, intact in your beak, pass it on to your team-mate at the next point, and the team who managed to complete the relay without the least damage to the egg - and in time - won.

George's team won, and were delighted to win themselves and their families a luxury Weekend break away - free of egg puns.

It truly was an egg-cellent event...
