Kitchen Table Geometry

Here’s a pile of stuff I’ve assembled on the dining room table, trying to work out the geometry of a template for a Zentangle drawing project. It’s amazingly difficult to get the proportions right. I had a stack of bowls and plates to see if I could get the proper circle, then I made some paper templates and tried layering them. I think I finally got the hang of it after a few tries. Oh, and you tint the paper with coffee or tea to try for an antique look. I’m eager to start the actual drawing after all this fussing.
