Life with The Pinks

Today started far too early for someone who didn't get to bed until 2.30 the night before, but nonetheless we've had a fab day. The sun has shone. The mini pinks had had a ball, and we had a barbecue. All fabby stuff.
Master Pink stayed in his pjs until 11ish. I don't blame him! We kind of skipped lunch, and decided as it was so warm we'd decamp to the garden and have a late lunch-early tea barbecue. We got the paddling pool blown up and filled up, much to Miss Pink's delight. Godson 3 came to play in the paddling pool and the mini pinks and he had great fun splashing and sliding into the pool. My neighbour (Godson 3's mum) got her paddling pool out too so the children were running in and out of each others gardens and generally laughing their heads off! Godson two came home from his bike ride and joined the fun, and that's when the bigger boys used the big slide to make a water slide. This is Master Pink pictured enjoying it loads.
We had a barbecue, I got a bit of gardening done, and we lazed about on the sun loungers. But I was in bed at 9pm, having already fallen asleep on the sofa. A very good Sunday.
