Godsend

We had this huge water tank put in the airing cupboard before we moved in. The water pressure upstairs was very bad for showers etc and this somehow could sort that out - and did!

Anyway, today the boiler failed and Stuart was able to activate this as a standalone water heater (which was quite a complicated procedure). Dean, our trusty boiler man, is convinced it is the fan causing the problem and has been able to source a new one ( the boiler is over twenty years old). He will be coming to mend it on Friday morning.

Some good news - my back is much better than it was. No need for a walking stick any more and I was able to potter and do some dusting and help with the cooking. Not perfect, but definitely on the way!
