Coffee catch-up

Chums Anne and Christina came round for coffee and a good natter this morning. I was glad I was able to offer them some home-made shortbread out the freezer, because my cooker is on the blink at the moment.

Anne's exciting news was that her younger daughter, Jenny, was down in London today taking part in the first round of this year's 'Portrait Artist of the Year.' We got to see which 'celebrity' Jenny was painting, but were sworn to secrecy! Unfortunately we don't know yet if she has got through to the next round...

Christina was aware that I had blipped her on Saturday, so suggested that it was Anne's turn today and she willingly obliged.
